"To Bush-bashers, it may be the most infuriating revelation yet from the military records of the two presidential candidates: the young George W. Bush had a higher I.Q. than did the young John Kerry... Mr. Bush's score on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test at age 22 again suggests that his I.Q was the mid-120's, putting Mr. Bush in about the 95th percentile of the population, according to Mr. Sailer. Mr. Kerry's I.Q. was about 120, in the 91st percentile, according to Mr. Sailer's extrapolation of his score at age 22 on the Navy Officer Qualification Test."

A question as ridiculous as it is impossible to answer.

IQ is not a simply subjective quantity and therefore to answer, Bush would have to have taken an IQ test. Then enough research would have to be done by someone wishing to answer in order to find out that result, which may not be a matter of public record.

All other answers would be purely subjective and almost invariably incorrect.

Gauging by his background, education, experience, political know-how, and all the rest that is necessary to get to be President of the USA, it is probably somewhere slightly to moderately above average (though citizen clinton showed that it is possible to fake one's way through). More than IQ, becoming President requires ambition, connections, money, perseverance, and a lot of help.

But that's not what you were really asking, is it?

The nature of the question reveals it to be simply an attempt to play to those who disapprove of his performance in office to get them to answer your question for points, and bolster your ego by reaffirming your established opinion of him.

Pretty pathetic, IMO.

I seem to recall a study that measured presidential IQ based on vocabulary and displayed knowledge that put his IQ in the high 80s to low 90s.

It's estimated to be 125 or 129. That sounds higher than yours . . .
