For instance, if you are taught to believe that the meaning in life resides in getting status, Power, and money, and not in the development of quality relationships with others, you're likely to hurt people to get what you want. Is this correct in your opinion?

I am chronically ill. Lately I found that my doctor has been mal-treating me for the last four years. I am a peaceful person, but this has had me furious. I have thought how much fun it would be to break him in half. So, in this case it is good that I've not gotten out much.

I think people don't seem to care about human interaction as much as they used to. We are such a e-mail, instant message world. I could see how people don't value each other's feelings as much, and in doing so, will do what it takes to get what we want.
