I am a resident of L.A. County. Other party lives in another state on the East Coast, and has resided there for over 10 years. Divorce papers state S.D. Superior Court maintains jurisdiction over anything relating to divorce, custody, etc... Need to have children, age19 and 18 (H.S. grad) emancipated to end support payments. Other matters to address after that, too, so there will be court time for me and I can't keep taking time off work. How do I petition the court to move this to L.A. County Sup. Court? Can I petition S.D. Court directly, or should I go thru L.A. County system first? Can I do it myself, or must it be done by an attorney? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The editorial stated that Bill Clinton is so well respected around the world that he would make an excellent U. N. General Secretary. The article further states that there are 2 problems: the U. S. is a permanent member of the U. N. Security Council and as such it would be difficult to have any one from the U. S. selected to what is essentially supposed to be a neutral post; and that Hillary is running for president, and if she is elected it would mean that other countries would have a hard time selecting the spouse of a head of state into the most powerful U. N. post. The article does have a ray of hope: that Hillary could put her presidential ambitions on hold to have Bill selected as the U. N. head honcho. Paraphrasing the editorial: the world needs Bill more than the U. S. needs Hillary.
True or untrue?

If we eliminate their right are we denying democracy?
Or if we leave them the right to vote, are we forgetting that they broke the law, and that the right to vote is a civil right not a human right? Therefor the government can deny them their right,

I'm not from the US or Canada, but I've travelled there many times and I have noticed that they think they have the right to live without working and instead manage casinos, booze etc.
Why is that, they just arrived to America (from Asia) a couple centuries before, I don't think they should feel that way.
They are a charge for the rest of the population that pays taxes.
What do you think?

The United States is hated soooo much, but why? We give aide to countries that hate us, why???? Everyone says the war is about oil but what about the money we have spent in this war.

This war is costing us billion of dollars a month. Which will have to be PAID BACK BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

In my opinion we should cut off all aid to the countries that hate us. Look there are little children that go hungry in our own country. WHAT GIVES???

Who can wait 18 years if they have family to feed or want to have a better future for their children? I seldom agree with president Bush, but I agree with him on the guest worker program.

They carry on about abortion being murder, yet they are holding hands with the NRA. Don't guns kill people, too? People who have already been born?

Is this some sort of paradox?
Or can it be explained in a way that doesn't sound like the hypocritical rhetoric that the conservatives are so good at?
