Its the same with many indigenous peoples that feel 'hard done by' all over the world. They feel that they should be compensated forever.

There is no question that the Rich feel anointed and their funds they put into companies, that they don't work for the profits, shouldn't be taxed.
Now I am going to hear from some idiot Republican that is going to say, "well if it weren't for their money!" BS! It's OUR money!
For instance, GM, who is mismanaged by muti-millionaires, pays no taxes and gets a REBATE from the taxpayers! The company is LOSING money, but paying their stockholders over $17.00 a share! HUH!!!
Like Bush said, " I represent the have and the have mores."
They get rich off of peoples backs that do work, many below the poverty level.
The reality is, we are losing the capacity to produce anything. Almost everything that the Japanese or Chinese sell us WE INVENTED, but corporations are so greedy, they move the manufacturing overseas or are bought out.
We invented telephones, cars, bicycles, TV, Radio. Airplanes, but most are not made in this country!
You are correct. In order to get money, this county gets a lot of revenue from sin taxes! And then they ***** about paying the health cost of a smoker after they have already bilked him out of a lot more in Tax than it will ever cost him to die!

Native Americans have always lived in the western hemisphere - where on earth did you get the idea that they came here from Asia. They are given reservations which they are licensed for virtually everything, to paying no sales tax, plus of course, their monthly "stipend" from the government which of course comes out of the taxpayers pockets - just as welfare cases do.
They are holding the Canadian and American governments hostage for "stealing land" that they think is theirs. They don't think the treaties were generous enough.

I don't know about Canada, but in the US these people are subsidized by the federal gov., free education, health, food stamps, general assistance, etc., why should they. If I got all that I sure wouldn't work either.

It's for what the Europeans did to them. Yes it was a while ago but since we gave them reservations our laws don't have any effect on the reservation so it's up to them how to live

Well, we used to own the whole damn country. Doesn't that entitle us to something. The decendants of those damn Pilgrims would enslave everyone if they could I think. AND i have ancestors on both sides of that.
