No it's not. First of all, it is the only proper way to destroy a flag as taught in the military, the boy scouts, etc. Secondly, the first amendment protects our speech, so any amendment to ban it is obviously unconstitutional.

Obviously, this is an emotional issue, but people have to re-learn to respect freedom in this country. I may not agree with what the KKK says, but their right to say it is protected by law. A constitutional amendment to ban it is simply fascist in nature.

Burning flags is not wrong. It is a form of non-verbal expression, much like art. Sure it may be offensive, but just because something is offensive, that doesn't mean it should be illegal. Furthermore, by banning flag burning the government would be banning a form of expression, which would be in opposition to what the flag represents.

Burning flags in protest is wrong, showing one is a traitor. Burning flags when the flag is retired, in a solemn ceremony, shows respect. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

It is wrong only if you're promoting anarchy or anti-. I know in the USA if the flag touches the ground, it is customary to burn it.

With everything going on in this world - what a freakin' waste of time! Let's deal with American soldiers & Iraqui civilians dying every day, babies starving to death in Africa and our earth warming up first.

depends why you're doing it. if you're doing it out of spite for what the flag symbolizes, then yes.
