only if they show "fahrenhype 911" with it. otherwise, it would still be biased. especially considering michael moore changed facts, and altered articles to fit his theories and opinions.

I think over time yes, however with the current administration that will never happen as the federal government would be cut. However I believe that in 10 years, when it can be called history, it will be a historical view of how America does not get it.

Most of the Social Studies Teachers I teach with are Liberals, already indoctrinating the students. My own daughter can give the UN position and charter section for any situation, but can't tell me what Constitutional amendment stops me from going through her purse.

No I don't think they should be required. They are propaganda pure and simple.

Hey nighthawk, if you don't want to corrupt kids with lies, I think it'd be great to start the process by getting our politician's to stop lying.

You make it sound like Liberals lie constantly, or are the only ones that DO lie.

Have you been watching only Fox news in the past eight months?

Say what you will about Michael Moore, at least his movie had basis in fact. Ann Coulter just resorts to personal attacks and INCREDIBLY POORLY sourced information.

I remember it was Farenheit 451 , I had to read it in high school. It used to be a bad idea to burn books. Now we have way too many boring useless books. Maybe heating the house with them is soemtimes the best use.

Maybe not really required, but I think high school students should at least be told that they exist, be told what they're about, and be encouraged to view them. Teach them to see each side of a controversy and make their own informed decisions.
