I have hade my male beardy for the past tow years. Why has he suddenly stopped eating? It started about a month or two after I got a hatchling female. I think she has somethimg to do with it, but what? She is doing great and growing fast. I planned on breeding them when she gets big enough, so I hope its not her. Please help me!!!

im not real sure of the species.. the guy at petco says its a mud.. but it also looks like a musk..He also says it a female, how can i be sure of what it is? this turtle crawled up to my front door.. must of ran away from owners.. but decided to keep it.. can anyone help me answer these questions? also is there a certain temp it needs to be?

I have a female and male RES and lately I have noticed her laying with her back legs spread apart. What does this mean? I just started seeing it yesterday. I have seen the male try to mate with the female, but it didnt look like she reacted back. What does this mean?

I found a turtle on the side of the road and I want to know what kind of turtle it is. It looks like most common turtles, it's dark green with light green stripes on it's face. And I was wondering what kind of turtle it is so I can take care of it properly. So if you know a website or what kind of turtle it might be please leave suggestions!

My husband wants to get a Bearded Dragon as a pet. I'm not so sure. I've never been a huge fan of reptiles. We have heard great things about their personalites though! We met someone that said theirs even got along with their 3 cats and would sit at the window with them! I just can't picture a reptile being so friendly. I would love to hear people's experiences with these little guys. Thanks!

OK my box turle is afraid of every noise or of any movement i dont know what i can do to make it actully come out of its shell and to eat a little better .....Is there something i can do to help her and one more litte detail a part of her shell has been bittin off by a dog please help...thanks

My turtle (Squirt) throws up/puke in the tank every day and i think it has to do with this word stools i dont no. its a red eared slider and every after noon i go to my tank and see a big glob of brown stuff please help. u may think im tortering my turtles but there in a ten gallon tank im getting a bigger size as soon as possible anyways could that be the problem. I live in Suffern New York and I've recently started construction on my new house. While they were working, the crew saw a few very large snakes, not sure that they were rattlesnakes though. But there is a park behind the house (behind a river) where it says to watch out for rattlesnakes and the previous owner of the property also said that they came into her basement on several occasions, along with some really big spiders. I am still continuing construction of the house, but i want to get rid of the snakes since they are a serious threat to my children. How can i get rid of them without killing/hurting them, since they are a protected species in my area? Btw, I have already bought very good windows for the basement and theres no way to stop building the house now. Thanks in advance.
