I recently moved him from inside to outside I had read that don't worry It is an eye infection it will go away I just want to confirm . today I cleaned his tank and conditioned the water I cannot afford to take to a vet. Student Any suggestions please

I had a box turtle with swollen eyes. I used turtle eye drops from the pet store, following the directions on the package. Her eyes cleared up fast. Now I use the drops once a week and haven't had any more problems.

This is almost always due to vitamin A deficiency, which occurs with improper diet, heating, and UVB source. Please see this link for further info:
