I have had the snake a week and set the tank up so one side is 22- 24 degrees C and the other 27- 29 degrees C. It struck for its food well. ( two pinkies) as previously advised to feed it once a week. It is twelve weeks old. Any other advice would be welcome as this is my first snake. Also I dont intend to use it to breed so is it likely to bruminate if the tank is at a constant temperature range as I have set it up?

It might seem like a really stupid question to snake owners and breeders but i've been looking at tonnes of American websites suggesting Ball Pythons as pets. I just want to make sure you can get them here. Help???

I recently rescued 1 male about 8" and 2 others that are 4" that I was pretty sure were female but lately I've been seeing them waving at each other like males do during courtship. The 2 4" RES have skinny tales and short claws like females should. Their ages are unknown. Do females sometimes do that too or are my 2 turtles just juvenile males that haven't matured yet?

So I have 5 breaded dragons and its about to be six. We do breed them but their cages are pretty much basic. We use the crushed walnut from Zilla as the substrate and have all the appropriate lights of course. And they all have large rocks and what not in their cage. We wanted to add to their cages because they absolutely love it when they go outside in their outdoor habitat. So if anyone could let me know what plants you use or know are okay to use with a breaded dragon. I have a ton of books but I just wanted to see if anyone uses plants in their tanks. Thanks a million.

I have 3 baby red ear slider turtles. I have about a 10 to 11 gallon tank but only about 1/4 or a little more if filled up. My turtles are about an inch across on the shell. Should i get a bigger tank? Only half of the tank has water on it and the other a waterfall with rocks. Also... should i make the water level higher? Thanks for answering!!

I found a snapping turtle (shell is about 4inches across) on the side of the road and brought it home. What the best type of tank setup for it? I know that they live in the mud/swamps.

We tried stawberries, lettuce and even tomatoes and he would smell them but not eat them. We finally put out some apple pieces and he liked them so we tried a tiny piece of banana and we found out that they are his favorite now. Is this safe for tortoises?
