Hi I am thinking of buying a Bearded Dragon but I have no clue what, how much and how often to feed them, how big of a cage and what to put in it, the right way to hold, treat, ext. it, and where to put the cage when I have two fully grown cats. Please help, and thank you so much :D

Buy sub adult in a 60 gallon tank so you can be happy and make sure ur tank is cat proof. Someday you'll want to buy another, once it reaches maturity. Then u won't b so worried about what ur cats are thinking. Because u'll b to busy feeding salad and giant mealworms everyday, to ur dragon.

Beardies are fantastic pets, but they do require a high level of daily care. They eat quite a bit, and there needs to be certain temps and at least a general schedule for the lighting in conjunction to when you feed and and remove food.
They need crickets , meal worms or silkworms a couple of times a week as well as fresh fruits and veggies every day. Cages need to be cleaned regularly. If you have a good lid, the cats aren't going to matter. I have a friend who has 2 beardies and 4 cats. One of her cats loves to lay on top of the 55 gallon tank one of the beardies is in. (It's warm) She has a very good lid, and keeps it weighted to be on the safe side, but the lizard and the cats usually ignore each other.
i'd suggest going to a reptile show or contacting a local breeder with any questions you have. Also there is a good book on bearded dragon care...

The Bearded Dragon Manual by Philippe De Vosjoli
Most of the people I know say it is the best book on caring for beardies there is. Many libraries will have it, or you can pick it up on Amazon for about $5.
