where would i buy a scale to weigh a tegu? what should a 5 month old weight?

If it's very small, an ounce or gram scale from a cooking supply store would probably work.

A small tegu can be weighed on a kitchen scale (I got mine at Walmart for about $30.00). It weighs in grams and ounces. A larger animal can be weighed on a baby scale--try ordering one online.
