Sorry, but different lizards require different diets, whether insectivorous, omnivorous, or herbivorous. So unless you tell us what type of lizard it is, we can't help you here! You should have researched and known everything about the reptile before you bought it, or if you caught it, research on what kind it is and what its diet consists of.

This came from a caresheet I found online. There's lots more on the website. http://www.the-lizard-lounge.com/content/species/sagebrush-lizard.asp

Sagebrush Lizards will eat a variety of feeder insects. Like all lizards, make sure the insects are gut-loaded and dusted with a calcium and/or multi-vitamin supplement. Feed them crickets, mealworms, silkworms, butterworms, etc. Provide a water dish at all times, ensuring it is clean water.

It really depends on the type of "lizard " you have. Some are herbiverous, some carniverous. So get a book, read up and contact an exotic vet for further questions. Next time learn about the pet you want to get before buying it

What kind of lizard? Don't feed wild insects--they may be exposed to pesticides and parasites. Read the reptileforums at this website for good info:
