Well I've been breeding beardies since I was 14 years old. They are the BEST reptile to start out with. It is the fisrt suggestion to people when they're looking for a pet for their kids when they want a reptile. They do indeed have awesome, unique personalities. They also get attached to people. My first one was Draco. He went everywhere with me. I even velcroed a peice of felt to the dash in my car so he had something to grip while I was driving. He'd just sit there lookin all cool. He would sit on my dog, and screw with my cats. As a group they are great too! The females can live in a colony type setting, where as the males must be housed alone. It's fun to watch the males see the females frome the front of the glass , and start bobbing their heads to get attention, and the females wave their arms in response.... they are as close to people as a reptile can get!
Hope this helps.

I've had a male beardie for over a year now. He will sit on the couch with me and watch TV. Sometimes, if we have a blanket on the couch, he will crawl under it and fall alseep. He also likes to sit at the window, but when he sees a bird fly past, he takes off running!

Separate your dragons and your project would be solved. they do no longer seem to be meant to stay mutually except they are mating, that's a great way too early for a 4 month previous dragon, they dont attain sexual adulthood till around one million year.

I have 2 beardys, one will bite off your finger and the other jumps into your hand so their personalities differ a lot. If you handle them when there young they become very freindly. they are a great petfor reptile starters.

They are nice pets but as exotic animals need specialized care to survive. With gentle handling they become quite tame, but not necessarily "friendly".

my girlfriend used to be the same, but now she loves em, we have even bred them, and started breeding veiled chameleons. beardos are lizards that can learn their names, they watch tv. they just chill on your shoulder. you can take em to a party once they get big. they can run fast, but prefer not to, and they are very inqusitive and know whats going on in theur home, they even perk up and get a little happy when you get home, and they are pretty easy to care for, all they need is: space, uvb, heat, food (they eat anything) and water
