I bought a adult iguana from the pet store last weekend. When I bought him he will let me hold hm. I held him all the way home. Since then him will not let anyone around him. I have never had an iguana before and I bought him for my son. We have tried to just leave him alone. We also tried to just pet him. But anytime we get around him, he'll swipe his tail at us. I don't know what to do.

I have just aquired a red eared slider and I've been reading up on the stuff to do for it but I was wondering if anyone knew if I am supposed to treat his water the way I treat the water for my fish with Amquel?

I've never had anyone say anything mean to my beautiful bubblegum snow, but when I was on Cornsnake Forums, there was 'snakes suck out your souls' and 'you'll go to hell for having a snake' and 'they work for the devil'.

Funny how they believe their own lies. :)

He's too small to eat bugs, but he doesn't seem to be eating anything else. Maybe he could eat ants. He's really tiny and wild.

i've been thinking lately to get a box turtle for a pet. they arn't as boreing as people think, at least box turtles arn't, they can be in the backyard in a pen, and be called by name and even play games like a dog, however im having problems finding an easter box turtle, so im startign to get disscuraged after all this time of trying to find a reasonably priced, and in my location easter box turtle, as well as figureing out and building the pen. its alot of work, so im just curious as to who thinks i should go ahead and get it.

have matter in it and he can't hardly open it. I checked on him a little while later and it was fine. It keeps doing this. He also seems to be opening his mouth really wide, like he is yawning, which I know that isn't what he is doing. Also, this morning, something white came out of where he goes to the bathroom, it almost looks like skin or something. I know this sounds gross but I dont know how else to describe it. He is in a cage, that is 18x 24, has lots of plants(artificial) , have the UV light, plus the heat light, but we havent needed to use it much. I am just concerned with his eye and whatever that is that is coming out of him.
Any answers will be appreciated :)

We saw about a 12 foot long one a couple of weeks ago and when we asked the park ranger he said that there weren't any there. I checked on line and there is a hunting season for alligators in Texas but it did not specifically mention anything about Ray Roberts.
