They make nice pets but need some special care. Go to www.anapsid.org for care info. Reptiles magazine (www.reptilemagazine.com), which you can find at most pet stores, has lists of breeders you can contact.

Yeah i would get one they are actually pretty fun to play with sometimes, i think u dont really need a pin as long as it knows where the food and water is, the fun part about watching a box turtle is seeing where of all the places they could end up. But thats also a risk in itself. My mom is a vet and we had a few at our house but they died within two months and then we just outgrew them. But i still remember, old gramps. Just get one, tell me how it turns out.

nicely, from my studies, i'd in my opinion say... NEITHER. I went with the aid of this turtle degree whilst i in my opinion wanted one. So my mom took me to a reptile puppy save. those turtles smell so disgusting and uncleanly that I almost threw up. i desperate after that to no longer get a turtle. additionally, container turtles will attempt to snap at you once you in basic terms attain your hand in to get their nutrition dish to feed them. Water turtles like the Musk is likewise a discomfort to look after and intensely costly to maintain as a puppy properly. I propose you carry out somewhat extra analyze and notice what you think of!!! :) sturdy success!!! i'm hoping you realize what a large dedication this would be in case you confirm to circulate with the aid of with it.

Learn a little more about it before you get one...do you have the room and is your climate right? What are you going to do with it in the winter? (...do you live in a mild climate area?) Don't listen to people on here!!!!
