Yes they do. Every animal sleeps. The only thing is that you can't tell whether a snake is sleeping because they have no eyelids. Also, depending on species, it could hibernate for a few months also. To encourage a feeling of safety and a place to rest, you should always have a place in the cage for the snake to hide. Hope this helps!

Yes, snakes do sleep. When they do sleep ,they sleep with their eyes open. That is because snakes have no eyelids

Yes. They don't have eyelids or even a thin membrane that closes like some people suggest. They have a clear scale that covers their eyes for protection, but they have no way of closing their eyes. Instead, they close their pupils very tight, but it will still allow some light to get through and they can sense movement when their asleep.
They don't hibernate like many people have stated, instead they brumate. It's a different biological process than hibernation.

Yes, some hybernate during the winter. Depends on the snake breed. Look for a film or clear cover over eyes. No eye lids. That is when they sleep.

Yes, and if they get cold will go into a deeper sleep. But if they get too cold they can die.

yes, they don't have eye lids though so you can't really tell that they're sleeping.
