Call the nearest ASPCA in your area. Tell them you're moving and want to give it a new home. They'll put it up for adoption.

Take it to a pet store. The only thing is...most of them will just give you a store credit. So, you may as well just give the thing to the pet store so that at least you know it will be taken care of.

Why don't you just find out if a friend of yours might want to adopt it? I'd worry more about finding a good home than about selling it.

you could give it to a friend and put an ad in the paper or flyers and have them come to your friends house to buy it
