My turtle, some sort of snapping turtle, will not eat the turtle food like she used to. She only eats meat. The same meat we eat. Like beef, chicken, hot dogs...It's crazy. She's becoming a little overweight, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to put her on some sort of diet that will make her lose a little weight but still eat. Any suggestions?

i have a young bearded dragon i have had for a couple of months at the moment i feed it crickets and locusts (as recomended by the perstore) i was also told to feed it 30% of its diet as vegetation, so at the moment i feed it daisies and dandielions as i was reccomended but i thought it might like a larger variety of plants and fruits but i am not sure what is safe to feed him i do not want to make him ill. can anyone help me x

While the gecko may be shedding, and having a moist hide is a good thing, should I use a wet paper towel on the top of the hide or on top of the sand for him to walk on top?

I have two Japanese slider turtles, Otto and Valentina, who are outgrowing their current tank---a simple plexiglass box with pebbles, which I have to wash out twice a week. I want to invest in a great home for them and need to know what to look for.

I live in the country, and have a field that borders my property close to the house. The farmer who owns the field won't hay it, so it's a major nuisance. I've tried "SnakeAway" powder, but it didn't work. Yesterday I found a young garter snake in my daughter's bed! Two weeks ago I removed a 3 foot milk snake from the house. I have called the conservation department, but they had no suggestions. I don't mind snakes, but I don't want them in my house.
