Reptiles - July 2006

I want a reptile, but I am not sure what to get.

The cost doesnt matter but i need one under 4 foot long, and it has to be a herbivour or I will end up keeping the food for pets and getting attatched. Feeding and lighting costs should be around £5-10s a week. I can spend at the very least 2 hours a day with it (most likely a lot longer) but it should be relatively easy to tame. Also i would prefer it to be easy to get hold of but i am prepared for it not to be. Please help.

Hi, I was just wondering if it's normal to be truely, madly, deeply in love with three people at once?...I know it sounds stupid but I have no control over this situation at all,my feelings are a boiling cauldron of lust and desire.I don't even want to talk about the sex because it'd make my socks fly off around the room and probably break some windows......does anyone else feel the way I do about Charlie Chaplin,Joseph Stalin (got an 'in' thang goin)and Hilary Clinton...oooh I could barely(I'm naked) finish typin their erogenous names....I don't really mean any of this, just wanted to know what it felt like to type crap about 'relationships' in front of thousands of strangers ......cos some do, you know,yeah....they do.

He is very sluggish and will not open his eyes, and he won't eat unless hand fed (and will not eat the worms or crickets - we had to give him another food - won't name it in case some readers are squeamish).

The vet is very very far away, no one in my area will treat reptiles. Has anyone seen these symptoms in a water dragon?

I will take him to the vet if I can't find out what the problem is by tomorrow.

Please help!

Hi...I am seriously considering buying a pet snake. I've been wanting one for a long time, but the timing has always been wrong.

I'm looking for any suggestions on good types/breeds for pets. I don't want a "sissy snake" like the little ones you can catch outside, but a good snake that will live a long time and grow large.

Should I get an adult or baby? What kinds thrive best in a home? What are some types that will really "get to know me" and be my pet rather than something that I just feed and he hides.

Any tips or ideas are welcome!
