Tarantulas have only enough venom for the size of prey that they typically hunt. They are not dangerous to people unless you are allergic to them. When they do bite, the damage is local to the bite (rash, swelling, burning)

Both, as you know.. are poisonous but the black cobra is by far the more dangerous of the two.. It id doubtful that one would live after a black cobra attack unless one received IMMEDIATE attention.. A tarantula bite would be very very sickening but one might live through it

Seeing as tarantulas are not poisonous and a cobra can kill an elephant, which do you think? A human could be allergic to the spider bite, but rarely , if ever dies, while cobras kill hundreds worldwide yearly.
