run in zig zag.a croc will run you down although most croc's don't attack in that fashion.
Croc's are down right mean they,didn't always be that way just,,most of their food has be destroyed by,,,,,people.
I raise gators,,not as mean as croc's but similar in lots of ways.for instance if you are approached by a croc you can usually punk them out by not backing down.If they refuse to stand or backup that's when you turn and run like hell.P.s Croc's can also jump really high off the ground so forget taking the time to climb a tree.unless the croc is hungry he's just trying to scare you off.

Yep, Thumper is right. Crocodile's and alligator's can run pretty fast straight on but they cannot turn themselves fast enough to catch you if you are moving in a zig zag.

while 27ridgeline is correct, I don't recommend getting close enough to the croc to actually grab its jaws.

crocs can run up to 30 mph (!!!!) on land (faster than a human) but only for a short amount of time, and in a straight line. they only go about 8 or 9 feet, so as long as you get away fast, you should be fine. try zigzagging.

I were given Gerard way and Brendon Urie blended up. I kept doing it. We were observing MCR's stay DVD and we were observing the Panic! Grab the croc and hold his mouth shut. Their muscles for opening the mouth aren't nearly as strong as the ones for closing it.

probably get to higher ground, but usually people can run faster than a croc on land...now in water....your screwed
