Pinkies are way too small for a snake that size. If she really is a foot and half she should be able to eat an adult mouse with no problems at all. We have a few hatchling balls that are eating adult mice right now. They can eat a much larger meal than you think. If you are worried, try hopper mice first. But, I see no reason why she shouldn't have a larger meal unless you are just guessing her size.
There really isn't anything else she is going to eat that you won't have to make the trip to the pet store for. You can try feeding frozen/thawed so that you can purchase a larger amount at a time and make fewer trips but that is about the only option.
Good Luck!

DO NOT FEED IT WILD MICE, you will kill you snake this way from the various diseases they carry and the prey fighting back. You can mail order mice as many people have sugested or buy in bulk when you go to a store. It should be eating full grown mice and I hope you're feeding it frozen because there is no reason to feed live prey to any reptile.

She should easily be able to eat a decent sized mouse by now, you usually try to aim for a prey item about the same girth as your snake, don't worry if it looks to wide for their mouth/neck, they can surprise you:) Ball pythons are notoriously picky, but if you can get it on frozen/thawed (thaw in warm water, DON'T microwave!!!) rodents that would be best, not only does it eliminate the chance of the snake being injured by its prey, it's also a LOT cheaper. You can get them from pet stores or offline, but the cheapest route would be to buy them in bulk at a reptile swap/show. Shipping is expensive and pet shops over charge.

your ball python will eat any warm blooded animal. if it is still a very small juvenile python, then small mice, especially newborns (called pinkies) work well. as it grows it will eat mice, rats, baby chickens and baby rabbits. you may want to raise your own mice to avoid multiple trips to a pet store. you can buy a male and female, but remember to seperate them once the female is pregnant. also make sure once she gives birth, that you have plenty of food available to her, or she will cannibalize her young. enjoy

Don't get pets if you can't care for them right. The snake needs to eat mice. Nothing else. Anything you could catch outside would be bad because even if you did get it to eat it. You would probably pass wild diseases to your snake. Then your snake would die. I know if it's to far to go to the pet store for you to feed the snake it will probably be to much hassle to see a vet. Do some research before you get a pet.

You can either go to the pet store once a month and stock up on frozen mice, or you can purchase them online. There are many "feeder" companies on the web. The animals are fed a quality diet, humanely killed, and frozen. Then they're shipped to you. Try these:
rodentpro.com
frozenrodent.com
peticebox.com
Happy hunting!

Some stores freeze dead mice, so you could buy a lot at one time. Maybe you could have them shipped to your house.?

buy a male and female mouse. They will reproduce constantly. Feed the offspring to your snake, let the ones go that you don't need.
