when i go put my hand in there houses obviusly there territorial and bite so how do i teach them that im not trying to hurt them im ALWAYS nice to them and they never bite me when there not in there house even when i put my finger infront of there mouth they wont bite its only when there in there little houses and why wont they bite when there not in there houses but they do when they are in there houses one more thing thank you every one for answering my past repetitive questions i keep on asking cuz i always get new answers

I am thinking about getting a next or salamander. (After I read how to care for them and feed them, of course!) I do not have an aquarium or terrarium, and I don't plan on getting one since they are so expensive. What can I substitute that would be almost as good as an aquarium or terrarium?

I have always understood that rabbits pick a corner and go there. Her cage has a wire bottom and she used to go to the same corner and squat to pee, but nowadays she pees in her food bowl every single day no matter where I place it in her cage. Even right after I put veggies or pellets in it. It is soo very nasty too. Why isnt her pee normal yellow pee? Why is it soo dark and reddish brown all the time no matter what she eats be it pellets, or alfalfa hay, or lettuce.
So I need 2 answers please. Why is her pee soo nasty and is it normally colored?
And why does she keep peeing in her food bowl no matter where i put it or how good I clean it. Thank you in advance for your help.

My female rat is about 8-10 weeks old and I did not realize that she could get pregnant that young. So I put her in a cage with my Male and low and behold she got pregnant!!! Is that going to create problems during birth? Also does the male need to be moved out of the cage?

Why do people get on here and ask questions when they don't want real answers, they want justification? For example: "I want a Husky but I life in Texas, is this ok?" 49 people say no, 1 person says yes. What do they do? Pick the one who said yes (ignoring the thousands of worthwhile points made by the other 49) and essentially say "Thanks so much, that's just what I wanted to hear!" If you're not truly going to listen to the answers you get, why bother asking? I must have answered a dozen questions lately that ended up being resolved by the asker picking the person who told them what they want to hear. Askers, just because you can find ONE other idiot who agrees with you doesn't justify whatever you want to buy or do to these animals! Has anyone else noticed this trend??

i dont want to become a vet. schools not for me. i have my highschool degree, but i dont plan on going to college...so im curious to see what kind of jobs are out there that would be good for me. i was thinking an animal shelter/?? or what about one of those animal rescue people... im curious about that....

i've heard quoted that gorrillas are extremely strong creatures, and was wondering if for instance, the strongest man in world is as strong as a big silverback male gorrilla??

Also gorrilla's are fairly intelligent creatures, so surely one could be trained to take part in the world's strongest man competition, would this be possible if the rule's allowed it?

Ok so here the thing i have a Black lab she like 1 year and 3 months...she very small(runt) for being a lab but anyways..Im going tomorrow to my girlfriends house that I havent seen in ages...well she moved and she lives 6 hrs away and I really want to take Molly(my dog) but i dont know if having my dog in the car for 6 hrs is going to be ok...what do you think?

My dog got kidney disease from the food, but she should be alright. We caught it early because she is regularly a very hyper dog (part boarder collie/ part hound) and she was acting like a "normal dog". Also, she hates going outside and she wanted to go outside many times a day. Thankfully she should be fine.

we had a cat in the house then for no reason,it embraced my ankle with its claws so from then on i hated cats. i had a dog,my cat's friend,who's so annoying,he peed in my bed!!!

so basically,i hate both. i'd like to know if anyone else has any cursed pets around or are u one of those people who loves their pets more than their partners?
