My daughter is always trying to give me her G pig, and I have two cats to take care of. How can I tell her to bug off? :) Arum

Blonde, you have the right idea! Next time I see or talk to her, I'll say, "Bring that G Pig right on over, some seasoning sauce, and a bunch of onions! :) Arum

tell her that final nighttime her guinea pig neglected Jesus and desperate to bypass domicile to heaven, yet that he nevertheless loves her and he's going to omit her very a lot because of the fact she took such stable care of him on a similar time as he substitute into on earth. Then tell her there are a number of guinea pigs that choose stable properties and if she'd opt to make yet another guinea pig as chuffed as (insert guinea pig's call here) then you definately will bypass together with her to the keep and she or he will undertake yet another guinea pig to shield. additionally if she knows the concept of a funeral you need to purchase her a flower, place the guinea pig in a shoe container or some thing and bury him interior the backyard. so as that she has of venture to declare see you later to him and function some closure. Sorry that's a tough one, stable good fortune! i'm hoping each little thing works out ok.

I wonder why your daughter obtained a guinea Pig in the first place if she wants to palm it off on you.......you might ask her why and point out that you chose your cats to look after and be responsible for and had you wanted a Guinea Pig you would have chosen one instead of the cats......She is basically hoping you will now take responsibility and care of the animal she chose but no longer wants the hassle of caring for.....point this out to her and hopefully she will see you won't be taken for a Patsy....

If she isn't listening to you being polite about you not wanting her guinea pig, you need to be blunt and tell her NO. Suggest she take it to the humane society or contact an animal rescue group. I'm sure you have already explained to her why you can't take her pet in, but it's fallen on deaf ears so to say. I'm just the opposite with animals, but I have the time and even with 14 cats (66 pets total) we raise small animals. You need to do what is right for you and not her, if this means being what she may consider mean, so be it. She needs to remember what no, I can't , or sorry I'd like to, but... terms mean.
Good luck.

tell her that you think that the two cats would harm the guinea pig and you wouldn't want to be responsible for anything happening to it.

When she askes, give her a list of places that will take her unwanted pet. There should be no further discussion after that.

I wonder how you ever raised her if you don't even know how to say NO to this?
