i have two rabbits a 9 month old male and a 6 month old female. Ihad the male rabbit neutered at christmas time. In their hutch there is a ramp which leads to a smaller hutch (it's quiet a big hutch.) inside. around it is a blanket for isolation. about a week ago she kept jumping up there and pulling the blanket up and around her. She has pulled lots of hay and somehow food up and everytime i pick her up to put her back on the normal levels she jumps back up? any ideas of what she is doing please and maybe why as i don't know what to do?

I know i should probably feed her more veggies, and less pellets, but I want to know if that's true? Or is the dewlap supposed to be there as my rabbit matures?

my sister and i are trying our best to persuade our parents into getting a horse!! our technique is that instead of a both birthdays or Christmas we get a horse as our presant and 10 percent of our money from our jobs goes to the horses and we quit getting allowance but still do our chores!! she is only 12 and i am only 14 so we dont make very much money but we are pretty much on our hands and knees at the moment!! so if you have anything that will help us persuade our parents please list it with the question that i posted. (what breed of horse can i get for the cheapest price?) Thank You so much!! please pray that this will work out!! and God bless!! ~thanks~

I've had my Guinea Pig for about a month now, but after a week of having her I noticed a patch;bald spot on her nose, a few weeks later hair started to grow back; slowly though and it's still growing back, My question is; does that seem normal? Could she hace been bitten when she was with her cage friends at the pet store? Is she sick? If you are an owner or a vet please help me! Little Miley thanks you!

I have two dogs. One is a three year old female-black lab/bulldog mix and the other is a one year old male-black lab/mutt. They are not related. I have noticed that both of them make strange, jerking movements in their sleep and sometimes whine in their sleep. They also appear to have REM. I also have an American Shorthair cat, female-age unknown who exhibits some of the same sleeping behaviors. Is there any scientific proof that aminals dream or any proof that they don't? If they don't, what is causing the strange behaviors when they sleep?

I've got three cats and two dogs and would hate to think of them being "disposed of" by the vet if anything were to happen to any of them-but my mum says it's now illegal to bury them on your own land, is she right?

I have noticed many people that own pets to have a distinct personality where they avoid human beings for companionship and would like their pets company anytime over human beings. Why is that so. Not that i am complaining, just a bit curious.

This toxin they call Aminopterin that's killing our pets across the country doesn't just magically appear. It's "put there" by someone or some company. All the news can decipher is that "wheat-gluten," upon becoming contaminated somehow derives "rat-poison" as part of its chemical makeup. This stuff comes from China! Are we supposed to sue China ? How is it possible that this company is allowed to continue making pet food? Seems kind of odd. If someone kills a domestic animal in the USA, that someone usually pays for it. Touche'?
