I am sure that the investigators have an idea of whether that is the case or not.
It is horrifying to think either way.
Accidental.... oops, I just dropped 50lbs of rat poisoning into the wheat gluten? Floor sweepings? Hm-mm I guess I just drop this into the vat.
Or.... shudder.
Let me see what damage I can do... to other living beings.
Actually I think to do so on purpose a person couldn't conceive that s/he was harming a living being, rather just a thing.
How unimaginable in my book.

Rat poison I believe, Investigators, are looking into whether the rat poison came into the United States on an ingredient used in the recalled food. Menu Foods bought wheat gluten, the only ingredient changed in its plants, from China. That possibility raises questions about the safety of pet and other food products in the United States..☺

arsenic? I thought it was rat poison? It's possible that it was done on purpose but it's also possible it wasn't.
