Yes I have, and I agree with it 100%. I think that it's just awful that people to get the wrong impression about rabbits around Easter time. It's not fair to the rabbits or the people. People (and parents) who think that a young rabbit will make an easy to care for, low maintenance pet are dead wrong. Then, when they realize how wrong they were, they abandon their bunny, and add to the thousands of homeless rabbits. I could go on and on about this, but I won't.
Thanks for helping spread the word about it!

yes i have actually. But i am getting 2 more English lop sisters next august. Don't worry, i have done tons of research (where i came across this campaign)and realize they are different from cats and dogs, are prey animals, need love and care, can be difficult to care for, are living feeling beings, etc. I am not impulsively buying a pet store bun to put in an Easter basket as a soon to be neglected and forgotten novelty for my kids.
Thank you for getting the message out there though.

yes i have! i think its a wonderful thing but i wish they would delivery products to the uk - there was afew things i would have like to have ordered.
i totally disagree with people buying a rabbit for a present because its easter!!! even getting a child a rabbit as a present full stop and the adult taking no responsibility for it! over 33.000 rabbits in england stuck in a rehoming place because people get bored or dont realise how much care a rabbit needs and also expense!
some people just go on the fact their cute and dont look into much else!

Haven't heard of it, but if it's really against people getting rabbits for easter- great! The bunny buying has started already where I live- the farm and home stores are full of baby rabbits chicks and ducks this last week (the ducks and chicks are only sold by lots thank goodness) but the signs on the rabbit cages are for "easter bunnies".

I've seen it now.
I think this is a great idea!
Way too many people get rabbits without realizing how much care, attention and maintenance they actually need.
Great idea! Thanks for the link!
