I slammed the cage door down on my dwarf hamsters front paw,and it seems to be red and bluish.I was afraid it was broke at first, but she is walking on it and puts weight down on it.Could it be broken,or very painful and just a bruise?Help me!!!!!!!

Okay, one of my hamsters was nice from the day I adopted it (baby and now adult) and I just bought a new one from the pet store. The one from the pets is nasty. I’ve let them play with each other and the sweet one (gumdrop) always is nice, and the mean one (Minty) is mean and always bites gumdrop! He squeals and I quickly take them apart. Minty is not tame and I don’t like him. I want to give him back to the pet store and get a refund. Should I?

My male cat is 14 and has a slight case of gingivitis. The vet said he needs 2 teeth out and his teeth cleaned. I am reluctant to let him have an anaesthetic because of his age. He is not having any problems eating and I think if I hadn't just taken him in for a check up I probably wouldn't have known. The vet I went to was at a new clinic that I had never been to before. I have 2 cats and they both refuse to eat chicken wings to clean there teeth also they won't eat those dentabite things you can buy for cats. What do you think?

How will a mare be affected by pregnancy. Will there be any emotion changes noticable in the early stage?

My 30 year old grey mare is being put to sleep next week. My other two horses have only been with her for four (4) months, but I still don't know how they will react. Do I take them for a walk while it happens? I don't want them to have to watch and I certainly can't.

Ok excuse me for a minute here, I have always ridden mostly english so I dont know the names of parts of a western saddle

Ok but anyway I recently got an old western saddle, its in pretty good condition. Tree is intact. The only problems are as follows:
The edges are a bit bent, are these unbendable?
The riggings are all rusted, what can I do about this, replace? how much will it cost?
Also like those little flower like things with the leather strings have mostly fallen off, how much will it cost to replace all of these?

I have heard of going hunting with ferrets- for ground squirrels/gophers, etc, and it sounds pretty interesting.

Anyone else do it or know of any good websites I can look at for tips in training?
Thanks in advance.

At my mares meal time(s), I recently noticed her scooping water in her mouth from her water trough and diligently wetting her hay before each bite. I have never seen any other horse do this manuver. Is this something I should be concerned with or does she just prefer moist feed ?
