Whether it's broken or not, there's not to much you or a vet can do. I've had a few hamsters with injuries to their limbs and they will heal on their own. There are a few things that you can do to make things easier for her though. First, remove the wheel. Having the wheel in her cage will tempt her to run on it and that won't help her heal. Put her food in a low dish so she doesn't have to jump out of one. Remove anything in her cage that she can climb on. Climbing and jumping down will prolong the healing time for her paw. Since hamsters hold food in their paws to eat, offer her soft foods that don't need to be gripped as strongly as seeds. This would be scrambled eggs, spinach, tofu, uncooked oatmeal, etc.. Lastly, you should avoid handling her until she heals as well.

I suggest you just make sure she wont hurt it again, and call your vet in the morning. Its not a huge deal. I shut the cage on my hamster before, and my mom pushed on its chest to bring it back to life.

Don't worry. It is just very painful. Just like if you slammed a door on your hand right? Just give it water and pet her. Get some ice and put a napkin around the ice and put it on his/her paw.

I promise you this advice will help. My mom slammed a door on her finger and it wasn't broken. Just really, really, really painful.

Try to IM me if you can.

Before you panic, watch her. Watch her for about 10-15 minutes as to how's she responding and using her foot. Does she still walk?

Hamsters are hardy creatures, and you may have done no damage at all. Before you worry, just watch her. Get her to use her paw.
