First of all, it's diet should mainly consist of guinea pig food. Too many carrots and it will develop diabetes.
Try offering water in a bowl

If you only got her at the weekend then she is maybe just having trouble settling in. Like other people have said try putting a bowl in her cage filled with water, and that may encourage her. Make sure you provide pellets too, because guinea pigs need a pellet mix (one formulated for guinea pigs not rabbits).
Guinea pigs also need hay, so give her plenty of that which may then make her thirsty enough to drink water anyway.
give her a selection of fruits and veggies too, not just carrots and tomatoes, (not lettuce though, as this can be bad for piggies) you can also try giving her a few mls of cranberry (or apple/orange) juice (pure juice though, not the stuff from concentrate) from a syringe. this is a good trest for her, and will ensure she still gets some fluids.

Try putting a dish of water in the cage though you may already have one of those drinking bottles with a spout . I recommend feeding it apples also because guinea pigs need vitamin C like people do . Also don't substitute rabbit food because it's different , rabbits produce their own vitamin C and guinea pigs don't so they need added vitamin C in their diet to prevent scurvy. Pet stores carry liquid vitamin c which can be added to the guinea pigs water and this is a good Idea . If it's a young guinea pig it may not have been ready to leave it's mother yet that's why I suggest the water dish till it learns to drink from the regular receptacle. Guinea pigs love lettuce but it has little nutritional value and should only be given as a treat .

My hamster did a similar element! maximum often, he/shes basically no longer used to the cage, the recent place and each thing. I had to get my hamster meelworm water, so he have been given used to the cage. yet prevalent water might artwork to, basically supply him some time. try making use of a few thing diverse that your guinea pig can drink some, or get a diverse food. confirm its a similar food the guinea pig is used to eating. additionally, lay off the treats and human food for yet another 2 weeks.

feed her a slice of orange and some guinea pig pellets. common mistake is thinking that they can get enough nutrition from rabbit pellets but it doesn't have the vitamins and minerals they need in it. are you using a water bottle or dish? they generally don't like to drink out of dishes.

My guinea pig seems to have the same problem, but I think he drinks it at night,so maybe yours does to!When I give him breakfast, most the water is gone, and I doubt he dumps most of it out to trick me!Try putting a water bottle and a bowl in there,so she can drink from whatever one she wants.Feed her lettuce, they have alot of water source in them,so it may help.Tomato also has alot of water in it,but I bet she is drinking at night, like my little boy.Hope I help and get best answer!
