I noticed Stinkerbelle walking kind of stiffly. I ran, and normally my goats will chase after me, but Stinkerbelle didn't. When she did try to run, she kind of limped. Her hooves are not overgrown. What could be wrong with her?

It is snowing outside, and my goats are really cold. I walked out there this morning and they were shivering. I would put an old blanket out there for them, but I'm afraid if there are any mice in the barn they might chew the blanket. Is there anything else I can do to keep them warm?

My pasture is thick grass, and in the summer it has some clover. My horse has a history of laminitis, and has had a small "laminitic episode" withing the last year. He is boarded right now, but if I wanted to, how could I move him to my pasture safely with his laminitis?

Have you ever experienced the death of a close family member, only to then lose the family pet close in time thereafter?

I think it is a frequent occurence. Have you experienced it or know of someone who did? Explain what happened.

Just this morning while I was feeding my rabbit I saw a pinkish spot near her eye and when I checked to see what it was I saw that it the spot was missing fur and and a red spot on the skin. The spot is not flaky or anything. She seems quite normal like eating and playing and stuff but I'm worried. What could it be and what should I do?

This is Classanova, my new baby. He's a QH, and will be 2 in March. Do you think he will get much bigger? He's currently 15h. The pictures were taken about a week after his castration. Thanks!

I am considering adopting a guinea pig but I have never had one and I don't know very much about them. Can anyone give me some information on the following?
How fragile are they?
How big of a cage is needed?
Are they to be let out of their cage often?
Do they bite?

Any additional info would be helpful also as well as any web-sites that have good, trustworthy information. I have always adopted dogs and rabbits and have two of each at the present time. Thanks ahead for the help. I would appreciate only serious answers.

I have been wanting to own a hampster for some time now. The only problem is, I currently live in a dorm in college, and next year I will be living in my sorority house. Hampsters aren't really allowed in either. So, is it hard to take care of a hampster in a small space and can hampsters survive if they were to say... live under a bed or something?

Thanks in advance. :)

I just got 3 new pet mice today. Any tips on taking care of them? I used to have 2 pet mice a few months ago, but they died. They lasted more then 2 years!

I just want what is best for my mice. What can they eat and not eat? How often should I clean their cage and equipment? Also, what other special requirements are there to take care of mice? I just want to be sure that I know my information correctly. Its been a while.
