because in their eyes bones are tooth brushes,
my dog chewes any thing in site, hes a black lab his name is jonsie hes chewes my sock's man iv hardly got any socks now

Basically. it's the caveman in them. They like the gnawing, that meat alone doesn't give them, and the hide-and -seek.....burying them for later etc.

Because it's something hard for them to chew on..... they prolly think the meats still on it, that's why they are drooling!!!!!
