Right that's me had enough!
Don't you think that there may be a couple of hundred animal rights people already swamping the beach?
I assume you've heard about the animal rights people digging up the body of an old woman as a 'protest' about mistreatment of guinea pigs or some such thing????
I suppose the next logical step would be to burn down Blackpool tower as a 'protest' against donkeys lunch breaks?
There is not a lot of damage done to animals in the UK, there is lots of damage done to young kids, but protesters do not dig up bodies or create havoc in the community. By all means protect our animals but lets try and get the priorities right!!!
This answer was not design to collect 10 points as you may have gathered!

I think you will find your info is not entirely correct.
For a start, all the donkeys in the group are used in rota,
apart from their lunch !! also, nowdays there is a weight
and height limit as to who can have a ride.. No Donkeys
work on a Friday, and the local RSPCA are ever villigent
on the care of the animals... Each winter all the Blackpool
Donkeys are sent to a 'shop', that is winter quarters,
usually in Cheshire or Yorkshire, some go over Wyre
...all these 'shops' are home from home !! in fact,
its not a bad life being a Blackpool Donkey ...

That's disgusting. Whenever I see donkeys on the beach they always look depressed and knackered. I think someone should stop this!

If it is possible[?] next time you go to that beach ,take some 'Treats' that you know they will like..Act like your admiring them and then slip them their tasty treats.. even though they don,t get more time off for lunch they might be able to sneak a healthy snack from good Pals like you and maybe others who read this...
If you happen to get in trouble for doing this. All of you get together and protest for better benifits.. Don,t Ya' think?

Do you mean to say they can actually eat a whole portion of fish and chips in that short space of time and actually have time for a cup of coffee and a bun. Disgraceful ! ! ! !
