I currently have 2 cats and really want to know how they would react if I were to bring one home. I'm not very worried about my 2 year old female messing with him/her. I'm definatly going to wait to get a little rabbit at least until my male kitten is about 1 year old or so. I still need some simple questions answered though still. how long do rabbits live? (all the sites I visited all had different answers) should I spay/neuter my rabbit when I get him/her? (none of the sites I went to answered this question) if they need to be spayed/neutered then how old should they be when it is done? what kind of vaccinations do they need yearly? (I looked everywhere, couldn't find this answer at all) what do rabbits eat? besides lettuce, carrots, veggies etc. money ISN'T an issue for me at all so whatever my rabbit needs to have done for his/her health, it WILL be done!!!!! if anybody could answer any of these questions then it will be greatly appreciated!! Thank You!!!

My hamster is two years old and lately he's been very sweet and affectionate. I can pick him up, put him on my thigh, and he'll just lay there and watch television with me and cuddle with my hand, and I can pick him up and he'll roll in a ball and fall asleep. Or, I can put him on my arm and fall asleep. I'm not complaining, but is this normal? He doesnt' do this to my sister, he'll only do this with me.

I need some inspiration, because I'm feeling down and upset. I want nothing more than to just go home from work right now and hug on my cats.. maybe then read a good book, drink some tea and still.. cuddle with my cats ;> (Not to mention I'd like to make-up with my mate, who lives with me!).

My cats have always known how to read me and they offer their "advice" whenever I need it(!). Sometimes, they just circle me, brushing me with their tails and planting "kisses" with their noses, and purring at me, giving me those big eyes until they think I'm feeling better. I've never found unconditional love anywhere else (although I'm not saying that humans can't love unconditionally).

I can't leave work though until this afternoon, so I was hoping that maybe some people wouldn't mind sharing inspirational stories with me about their own angels.. tide me over until I can get to mine ;>

Bless you!

I noticed it about two weeks ago. During the night they would bite at my feet and legs. Well, now they are everywhere. I gave my cat a flea bath and put advantage on her. Im had using bug bombs, so I bought some natural carpet powder you put on the carpet thats supposed to kill the fleas. I wanted to use something natural since i have a 2 yr old, a cat, and fish that i didnt want to get sick cause of the stuff. Well.... Im still twice as bit up as I was yesturday. Im going to vacuum like a ton of times today and hope that helps... but what can I do beside bug bombs? Anything natural that is safe to use around animals and children? I seriously have at least 100 bites on my body, and im going insane!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

I do. I find nothing in the Bible that precludes the idea that animals do not have eternal souls like humans. I like to think that God loves all He creates and animals aren't excluded from that list.

I saw it this AM. chasing our little chickadee. It was totally yellow top and bottom. Brown legs, with beak like a mocking bird. Tail and wings were just like a terns, to a point and long split tail. I have never seen a bird like this. Please give me some insite as to the kind of bird this is.
The yellow was like a dull yellow, not a bright yellow.
Thanks

i have a qh gelding who is allegeric to bee strings, 1st time he got strung he just swelled up, the 2nd time he got sturng, he went in to shock, he couldn`t eat, drink and was shaking, he also had a lock jaw.

i had three vets down trying to help him.

hes ok now but the vet said he has allegies to bee strings but won`t give him anything for him un less i run test on him.

he is now 18 yrs old and has heaves and is blind in one eye, he is basiclly a pet i still ride him and use him in light lessons, but as testing goes i don`t think that would be fair for him.

any suggestions.
