I'm doing a one hour survey about who likes dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds, or fish as pets. Which do you like the most?

I know Yahoo answers is not a forum to vent our frustrations and pet peeves, however I feel the need to ask this question.
Is it a sense of aloneness that they feel it's ok to take the little doggy into the grocery store or mall or anywhere for that matter? Are these people certain the world will be better if everyone in it is subjected to their large eyed, quivering "little baby"?
What happened to the signs and health issues associated with animals in public places? Or are these little darlings not considered animals since mommy and daddy are holding them?

Please don't misunderstand, I love pets, all pets and I feel we are truly better people for having a pet. Although, I believe that pets should be kept at home when you are running an errand or going on an outing.

Please forgive the possible misplacement of this question.

15 minutes ago my cat came in yeowling for me to close the cat flaps - didn't know what he was on about - but I did it, as the black clouds were mounting fast.
5 minutes ago a fairly viscous squall hit us.
He had noticed something I hadn't.
Have you a "pet story" about their senses?

My 7 year old sister and I, have been trying to persuade my mom into letting us get a bunny. Today, we saw a baby one, and the little thing only cost $30!

Can you list some advantages, and disadvantages on why having a bunny as a pet is good ? [[more advantages though ;)]]

Sorry for another question, but I just wanted to know how much ferrets can go for? Like how much they cost and what not. Our local Pet Co. sometimes sells them for around $70. I dunno if that's overpriced or regular. Any help will be appreciated.

Please no rude comments. I am studying gerbils and hamsters because I want a Gerbil or a hamster and might be getting one and wondered if anyone had any opinions. Especially owners of Gerbils and hamsters. Thanks!

Also, Please give some websites. And if you own Gerbils, where did you get them and what kind of cage do you have?

I have a pet rabbit, but I've never had a guinea pig. I was considering on getting a guinea pig after I read up a lot on them. I like my rabbit enough but I was wondering if maybe a guinea pig is friendlier than a rabbit. I'm not giving up my rabbit as I love her too much but it would be great if I could get more opinions as to which tends to be more friendlier, rabbits or guinea pigs.

This is my first colt and even tho I know I dont have to do this yet. I hear vets do it but horse people who know about this do it themselves and save a huge vets bill.
