You may want to check out http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/. They have a section of the posting board for identification, so if you can post a picture for them, there's probably someone there who can tell you.

besides the spell check, we can tell by the colors on the thorax, if it is brown than it is usal, but if it has a crazy pattern then stay away, call animal control
