Bunnies do not cost $30, the rabbit itself might cost that but you have to get a cage, you have to get a food bowl, and watter bottle, and bedding/litter material, depending on if you want to littler box train it, you have to get toys so they don't chew on everything, but they still will.
Please do some research before getting a bunny.
Advantages:
Cute, adorable, soft, quiet, will eat carrot tops and other veggies that might get thrown away, don't need much vet care (once fixed).
Disadvantages
They don't like to get picked up, the can scratch, they have to get their nails trimmed, they need food, hay and veggies every day, they need their cage or litter cleaned every day or so, they chew on cords, paper and anything on the groud, they have to be watched when out of the cage or the whole house has to be bunny proofed, Both genders should be fixed if you want to have your rabbit for more than 3 years (thats easily $100), they are a lot of work.
I have a rabbit and I love her dearly and I wouldn't give her up for the world, but she is a lot of work and a lot of respnsability and I had to think a long time about getting one before I did. I also got a resuce rabbit that had been fixed so she doesn't really need much in medial apointments, except I take her when the cats go in to get a checkup.

They are naturally prey animals, so environments with an extreme amount of noise or movement isn't good. Also, other animals roaming about is not desirable, because the rabbits can be easily frightened. Even just seeing a potential predator can kill a rabbit by giving it a heartattack.
It'll need the proper amount of food during the day with clean fresh water at all times. Also, it'll need plenty of things to chew on. You'll have to clean the cage and give it fresh bedding frequently. It'll also need at least an hour a day to exercise--make sure your house is rabbit-proofed. No wires or anything lying around that you don't want chewed on or that could hurt the rabbit.
Rabbits need socialization, but they are naturally unfond of being handled. Sometimes, when handled correctly, they learn to enjoy being petted and groomed, but it takes patience.
Rabbits will also need regular veterinary care simply because they are prone to many different ailments. Rabbits rarely die of old age.
That said, they are incredibly sweet and cute animals that are worth having around if you have the time, money, and energy to properly care for them.

Rabbits are great pets you may not want to pay $30 if you find a local breeder you may be able to get to for $30 rabbits only stink when urine goes on to the feces and if you get it as a baby it will be more used to you.
