Wild horses have long been a symbol of freedom and the pioneering spirit of the American West. Unfortunately, wild horses and wild burros compete for grazing land with cattle and other livestock, making them a point of contention between ranchers and animal advocates. Legislation protecting wild horses and burros has been attacked and weakened in recent years, despite the fact that their numbers have already been drastically reduced.
Have we stopped caring our wild horses and burros?
