It is a tame sheep, and is weaned. But this is my first sheep, so I need some tips. I have horses, goat, and other barnyard animals. It is a whethered ram (so it is fixed). I am going to get him in a week or two. But I would like some tips on showing and taking care of him.
Thanks

Actually we don't really like the goat, we don't want anymore. It is more like we tolerate the goat.

Try this site. It seems very informative.

You seem like you're off to a good start. Usually it helps if you get an orphan sheep and bottle feed it, but if yours is tame then hopefully it is used to people all the same. I wish I could tell you more, but I've never raised a real one before, just read a ton. The first person gave some good tips and I think that link should help you too.
Good luck

I'd stick to goats.Sheep get allot of diseases some even that can be passed onto humans. Goats are more tolerant.

brush him and keep him sheered regularly. ( makes for good wool especially in fall)
also when changing him from one pasture to the next scrap out his hooves and soak in blue coat sollution to stop the tranfer of worms ( your vet can do that for you)
