The hamster has been out of it's cage since 8:40 pm last night. We have looked under and in everything he may be in. We will put out boxes with food, so that we could trap the hamster. I'm so afraid that one of the dogs has eaten it. When should we call the owner? They are gone for 3 more days.

He's been here over a week and I don't want to hear him crow again at 5 a.m. all weekend!! I can't seem to catch him, so taking him somewhere is not an option. Also, animal control in my town won't come and get him.

I need to put in some ground cover next to a pasture with horses in it and the horses might be able to reach under the fence and eat some.

Right now, I do eventing on my TB gelding. I love it, but he is getting older (15 next year). So I'm kind of looking at getting a new horse. (I have also done reining, barrel racing, hunter o/f, dressage, showmanship & english pleasure)
First of all, I'd probably get a horse 2-4 yrs old, thats pretty much green broke.
The thing is, I'm not sure what discipline I really want to do. I love eventing but it's kind of expensive and there aren't a whole lot of oppurtunies within 6 hours of where I live. If I did want to keep doing that, I'd probably get another off the track TB.
I also like huntseat and showmanship, and there are a lot of those shows in my area. They are less pricey, too. If I did that, I'd either want a Quarter Horse or Paint with a lot of Appendix-Thoroughbred breeding.
What I'm kind of leaning towards is getting an Appendix type horse and doing hunter/over fences/english pleasure classes at breed shows.

Anyone kind of in this situation before? :-P

Me and my family are getting a lop eared rabbit, that is mostly white with grey spots on its head.

Everybody wants to name it Mopsy, but I don't (it makes me thik of a dirty mop!)

So I need some ideas for some names. Who every picks a name, that my family likes, gets 12 points!

I recently bought a nice quiet yearling mare. When in stall, she backs up against a wall and dumps, smearing down the wall, always in the same spot. When outside, she picks the barn door to do the same thing. How can I get her to stop that? It's the first thing I step in!
