Well the simplest solution would be to clean the cage (bedding etc.) more often. But if you want an even better solution you might be able to buy some things to help the smell.

You can hang the 'Lixit Pet Exit Odor' pouch on the outside of the cage. Its supposed to help absorb the ammonia gas in the cage. It's only a little over a dollar too, so you ought to try it.

Also try 'Marshall Bi-Odor for Small Animals', you add it to your rabbits water and it decreases the smell from their urine and feces.

The 'Super Pet Clean Cage Safe Deodorizer' is something you can spray on his cage to freshen it up a little.

Oh, and last but not least, try the 'Natures Miracle Litter Treatment'. Usually you can sprinkle some in the bottom of your pets litter pan (or bottom of the cage, depending on your situation) and it will help keep the litter a little fresher.

Those are my tips so I hope that helps a little.

Is your rabbit fixed? Spaying or nuetering can really help the smell plus there are a lot of other health benefits. When you clean the cage use equal parts water to white vinegar that will nuetralize the scent. Also use care fresh bedding or wood stove pellets for litter box material. These suggestions should fix your problem.

You don't say what kind of bedding you use, but you may need to change it more often. Try the recycled paper pellets, they're pretty good at absorbing orders.
That's a big rabbit cage. Clean it with mild detergent and warm water, be sure to wash, rinse and dry it thoroughly
I don't think you can change the smell of his pee, you'll just have to clean the cage more often.

white vinegar is the trick! first, remove your bunny from the cage. next, wipe down the cage with it (make sure you leave a window open to air out the room) and when you clean his litter box or tray, pour some vinegar in it and let it sit for about 5 mins before rinsing out (apply the vinegar after you've removed the litter and poop).

how often are you cleaning his litter box or catch tray? what type of litter are you using? a great one that helps reduce odor is carefresh. it comes in a mint green and clear bag. it looks like recycled newspaper clumps.

email me if you need any other advice. the vinegar will help!!!

Well thorough cleaning will do, scented soaps and such work. Feed the rabbits mint to purify the pee and poop ( make it not smell so bad) If possible potty train them ( its easy with rabbits) and get them to pee and poop in a poop corner thing you can buy at any pet store that way you can take it out and clean it whenever.

my bunny's cage used to smell too, and it was awful to clean, but if you try filling the cage with clumping cat littler instead of conventional litter it might help. get a litter scoop too and cage cleaning will be easy.
