I have a bay quater horse that drinks pop ice tea and eats ice and he likes to listen to country music with me while we work in the round pen or the arena...well I had left the radio on one day after working him while i went to get him a treat and a Dr. Pepper but when I came back he was bobbing his head to the beat of the music.

I lived in New England and we had a breezeway (covered screened walkway connecting the house and garage) where we kept our firewood. One Thanksgiving my dog, who'd been outside, managed to open the breezeway door and pull down the leftover Thanksgiving turkey that my mom had set covered on the top of the woodpile. Needless to say, there was no turkey soup, but a VERY happy little dog.

We had a beagle named Sadie. One day, my husband put a ladder up to a tree limb about 15 feel off the ground and climbed up to trim a limb higher up. Sadie followed him right up the ladder! She got stuck, of course, and was just hanging over the branch where the ladder was leaning. Only problem - we didn't have a camera handy!

I taught my dog words. One of them was "fly" When she'd see a fly I'd say "get the fly lady" or even if she didn't see it but I heard it I'd say "get the where's the fly"...She's prop her ears up and listen then run through the house dashing through all the bedrooms..stop listen...dash in another room until she'd corner the fly and snap at it...She used to eat it...until she learned the word's "spit-it-out" , then she's just leave it there. And come run up to me for lovins cause I was tellin' her what I good girl she was!
I sure miss my dog. I had her for 16 years! Black Pit Bull/Lab!
That's for letting my remember some smiles of me and my dog!
Good tears...

I have a few stories.
The best one was probably with my old cat named Stinky. He was so smart and stubborn. He use to climb on the top of our clothesline post--out side of my window--which was a few feet away and jump into the window. The other cats were too cowardly to do that. So, he was special and I thought that was so cute how he trusted me to catch him if he would fall. He always made it. I miss him so much. :(

One dog slept in shirt sleeves or pant legs. Onother dog, a basset hound, made nests instead of digging, climped fences, drank beer and got drunk once, and loved spighetti and chocolate bars.
