We have 5 mice, 2 rats, 4 gerbils, and iguana, a guniea pig, a bird, and fish none of which have stirred up his wheezing. We got the ferrets (who are adorable btw) yesterday evening and he spent most of last night wheezing, not too bad but bad enough to warrent the inhaler a few times. And why would the ferrets cause asthma to act up when none of the other furry/scaly/feathery pets have?

I need to find a good bedding for my guiena pig, the pet stores here only sell pine/cedar beddings, any suggestions?

There also isn't any fresh hay around.

My poor guiena pig needs your help. Please?

And no, you cannot just pick them out of the forest for the obvious reason that they are wild. Just some help in the right direction would be appreciated. Breeders exist in England, but cannot find any in Scotland.

Well, heres my dilema. I have a pet gerbil that appears to have broken her back. She is very uncomfortable. So I ask you this. Is there a way to gas (put to sleep) a small pet? I have heard that the vet can euthanize them however they dont give then anesthetic and it is very painful. This in addition to the cost is a deterant. Is there something available over the counter or possibly household goods that would work?

If I put a little calcium powder in a spray bottle, is that another way my toad can get her calcium? Right now I shake her crickets with a little once a week. Is that enough? Only answer if you know.

we moved from the east coast to the west coast about 5 weeks ago and his fur is changing ALOT. It went from a dark choclate brown to a golden blonde, his eyes used to be surrounded by a beautiful dark gray/ black and now its white. He's only about 15 months old. once we got here he also started losing alot of weight but hes gained it back. he still wont eat by himself though. he only eats when fedbthrough a bottle. What's that about?
