The proper answer is that the domesticated species is Bovine. In the dairy cattle breeds there are males, but their sole purpose is reproduction. The male is called a bull and the female is called a cow. Elk and buffalo also are called bulls and cows.
An udder (utter is the term for "to say" or "total") is for producing milk - bulls do not have this ability.

The correct term is Dairy Cattle, and of course there are males, they are called bulls, the cow is the female. I'm not sure about bulls, but bucks (Dairy Goat males) have 2 teats and occasionally the hormones get unbalanced and they produce
milk. Not that I would put it on my Frosted Flakes,....lol. So my guess would be that the Bulls are similar in anatomy to bucks as the cows are to does.

There are bulls.. dairy bulls as well.. but you wouldn't want to try and take hold of what they have..
Did you see the commercial for the new animated movie.. something to do with farm animals - especially cows.. with very deep voices.. looking very much like dairy cows WITH udders..

No. Only female cows have udders. They are repeatedly impregnatated thoughout their lives to preduce milk.
