I would assume that cows would get bored if they were put in an environment where they had no company or were free to roam throuhout the day. Like any other living thing if not provided with something to occupy themselves such as food or fresh air they would grow fiercly bored.

Well, with such a short memory cows don't remember what happened 5 seconds ago; so they are content to do the same thing over and over again. That's why cows will stand in the same spot for hours. So no, they don't get bored because they can't.

There were these two cows, chatting over the fence between their fields. The first cow said, "I tell you, this mad-cow-disease is really pretty scary. They say it is spreading fast; I heard it hit some cows down on the Johnson Farm." The other cow replies, "Hell, I ain't worried, it don't affect us ducks."
