How much can ferrets cost?

Sorry for another question, but I just wanted to know how much ferrets can go for? Like how much they cost and what not. Our local Pet Co. sometimes sells them for around $70. I dunno if that's overpriced or regular. Any help will be appreciated.

That is a very reasonable price. Our Petco charges $129 normally and then $99 on sale. And non-chain petstores charge around $130-$150 as well.
But that is just the price of the ferret itself. By the time you purchase everything you need for the ferret (large cage, litterboxes, litter, hammocks, toys, nail clippers, ferret lax for hairballs, ear cleaner, food, food/water bowls, ferritone treat, pet-safe cleaner, etc...) you are going to have $300 worth of stuff easily. Then there is the vet bills (yes, ferrets need a checkup and distemper/rabies vaccinations) and keeping up with food and litter. They are very expensive animals and the costs go far beyond the initial purchases.

i was at petland not too long ago and they were about 30-100...but with all the accessories, it will be a little more than that.

a variety depending on where and when you buy them...they are cheaper in the winter cause they are bred mostly then.

70.00 is a good price. I bought mine for about 100.00, and other places were selling them for 119.00.
