I saw it this AM. chasing our little chickadee. It was totally yellow top and bottom. Brown legs, with beak like a mocking bird. Tail and wings were just like a terns, to a point and long split tail. I have never seen a bird like this. Please give me some insite as to the kind of bird this is.
The yellow was like a dull yellow, not a bright yellow.

If I saw something this interesting, I'd reach over & open up Peterson's Field Guide to Birds. If you don't have one, dash out to a bookstore or library, it should be very easy to find & is the standard reference.

not sure what kind of bird it was, bit it is the time of year when birds migrate. try google images and input birds.

it sounds like a female hooded warbler
