First of all- eggs do come "out of the butt". Birds have a cloaca which serves as an exit point for feces and eggs and also is a reproductive organ. As for how people started eating eggs- my guess is that cavemen- or what ever the correct term for primitive man is now- were pretty starved for protein and gathered anything that was easy to get and high in protein- including eggs out of bird nests.

Not to be a *****, but eggs don't come out of their butt honey. And think about it. If you really want to get into that, who was the first person to see a coconut and say, oh, I bet there's something good inside this hairy ball. Or, who was the first person to decide to steal a bee's nest and eat what's in there? Probably someone who was so hungry they were willing to die for food. Either that, or they watched something else do it. Like, they may have seen a snake eat an egg, and so they tried it too.

Eggs, animals eat eggs, people would learn that animals can eat those eggs and not get sick so people would try it as well. We are a very observant species and much of what we eat we also see other animals eat, we now have to cook our food, but we learned about meat from other species, as well as which plants to eat.
