I do. I find nothing in the Bible that precludes the idea that animals do not have eternal souls like humans. I like to think that God loves all He creates and animals aren't excluded from that list.

If the Bible says nothing about animals having souls-- why do you draw the conclusion that they automatically don't... why not- they automatically do?!?! If it doesn't say, then how do you know for certain one way or the other?

Do you really believe that just because they can't be 'saved' that they don't go to heaven? They aren't in need of redemption. We humans are the ones born in sin- not my cats! Man is inherently evil- not the turtle in the pond. What about the time when the lion lays down with the lamb. Where are those animals going to come from? That's after the time of the new earth is it not?

Yeah, I think they go to heaven. God thinks animals are important too. The bible talks about a new heaven and new earth...don't you think that would include the animals too. Didn't God spare the animals in the flood. Obviously He holds them to some value. Things to think about.

Personally I believe animals have souls, I mean you can't believe everything the bible says it's very old and has probably been reformed. Also why are humans so special to deserve souls? Animals are not below humans and only a moron would think they don't have souls. Oh and of course they go to heaven, trust me i know from an experience of mine. Plus, where else would they go if they didn't go to heaven?

I love animals. I can not even picture living without them. But I know that Jesus tells us if be go to heaven there will be no tears. So I know that if there are no animals in heaven it will be ok for me when I get there. Just can't stand to think of it while I am here. But!!!!!!!! God made all things and only about man did He say "Lets make them like Us" God is a spirit. We are. Animals are not. And it is true that we do have to accept Jesus and obey Him and that is the only way to heaven.
Maybe God has placed animals in heaven for us as He did here!!! I hope so!

Wow, you religious people don't even know about your own religion. Nobody over the age of, like, 6, should think there's a nice place up in the clouds with angels playing harps and all your dead dogs and hamsters running around. Come on!
I don't believe in any of this, but Pope John Paul had made a statement saying that heaven is not any kind of place like this; heaven is that you get to see God. And that's it. (Oh, and your religion also doesn't say that you turn into an angel once you get to heaven. Angels are different--and, mythical--creatures altogether.)

Animals belong in heaven more than most people do. Of course they go to heaven. I have several waiting for me. How you look into the eyes of an animal you love and not believe that they have a worthy soul?

The bible does teach that animals do not have a mortal soul.animals are not made in the image of God: there is nothing in the bible about them being redeemed from sin. They have no knowledge of sin and cannot experience conversion. Therefore they have no life after death.

To my knowledge, nowhere in the bible does it say that animals have souls. If they don't have souls, what would go to heaven since everyone's earthly body remains?

Whatever Heaven is, humans do not have exclusive rights to it. Animals' souls are way purer than ours. They love us, so yes, I believe that they go the same place we do.

The only way to Heaven is by accepting Jesus Christ as your savior. Animals cannot do that. I agree that they might be included in heaven, but, if they are, it is not a Biblical promise.
