I have some very happy goldfish that are little beggers and love attention believe it or not. Besides ordinary Flake foods and an occational green peas as treats what is recommended to help bring out more of their colors?

Okay so I started out with what they call a goldfish. but i'm not sure if it is or not. It doesnt look like a gold fish. It's small..not round at all. it has somewhat of a start of gold coloring but a black stripe down the middle of its back. I introduced a black moor goldfish into my five gallon tank with this other fish. after watching them for quite some time the smaller fish keeps swimming underneath my new black moor. then it opens its mouth wide and swims around it and then back underneath it. the fish does this a few times then swims away.. should i be concerned? oh and i put the small one in the fish bowl just in case [so i could ask this question without worrying about my fish.] help?!

I just got this fish on Thursday. It's an albino tiger barb. He seemed fine up until today. His left eye looks HUGE.

Does this look like pop eye?
If so, is there anything I could do for it without going to get medicine? I read that epsom salt might work.
My water quality is good. Everything is where it should be., and I highly doubt that any of my other barbs hurt the fish. They aren't violent.
If it is pop eye, could it infect my other fish?

Advice?

I am converting my aquarium into a reef and I have read that you do not need a filter system and protein skimmer for that, only a heater, and live rock and live sand to take care of filtering, is this true?

He is turning 4, and he really wants fish. He has always loved them. I just don't think that I want the responsibility. How difficult/expensive is it to maintain fish.? He likes clownfish (Nemo) the best, but he likes other types too. He likes Bettas, and I think I could handle one of those, but my son would lose interest with just one fish? What is it like to have just a Betta? Does anyone have any information about setting up a 10 gallon or so aquarium? (cost, tips...) Around what age can kids start helping to take care of fish? Thanks.

I have a 10 gallon tank with 4 mollies. I have 1 black mystery snail but he isn't cleaning up very well, he stays on the walls all day. So, I was thinking about getting some more snails. How many more should I get?

Also, would ghost shrimp eat or harm any baby mollies?

I have 10 tropical fish all of the same breed. Yesterday i found one of my fish dead but a couple of days before it died iot seemed to have some sort of injury on its side, none of the other fish in the tank i dont think would have bit it so does anyone know what could have happened?

This morning when i got up i seen another fish was dead, i was expecting this because it didn't look well last night. It was swimming around and couldn't seem to close its mouth. Anyone know what this is?

The two fish were albino coloured and the rest of my fish are zebra stripped! also i noticed that they had become very red behind the gills. I must add i have 1 more albino fish in the tank and it nor the other fish seem to be affected!

I have a 180 gallon aquarium with African Cichlids right now. I have a friend looking to find another home for some of his Jack Dempseys. I would like to take them, but I wasn't sure if they'd be okay with Africans since they are South American. All the fish are relatively the same size. Any adivce?

I need good names for my 4 mollies:

Molly #1: Black male. Shy, graceful, sweet.

Molly #2: Dalmation lyretail male. Aggresive, leader, fast.

Molly #3: Silver/white female. Curious, spazzy.

Molly #4: Dalmation lyretail female. I just got her today, but she is friendly, a curious pecker.

Help name for 2 points!
